Runout fails to meet specifications: Runout may be caused by misalignment between the front center and the spindle axis, bearing wear at the rotating center, an uncleaned workpiece center hole, or a burr in the center hole; alternatively, the lever on the collet may strike the face of the chuck, rendering the center hole ineffective.
4. Severe wear or burring of the center hole on a high-precision CNC lathe: This may be caused by using a fixed live center without lubrication, excessive spindle speed, or an improperly tightened collet, leading to the workpiece stopping during turning.
When machining parts on a CNC gantry machining center, the sources of error are highly complex.
